Purpose of our educational content
Borrow Your Loan publishes educational content to help consumers understand personal-loan requests, APR, repayment terms, lender review, and responsible borrowing. Borrow Your Loan is not a lender and does not approve loans, set rates, or guarantee funding.
Editorial principles
- We explain loan topics in plain language and avoid promising approval, rates, timing, or loan amounts.
- We label examples and calculator outputs as estimates, not lender offers.
- We separate educational content from partner compensation and final lender decisions.
- We update content when policy language, calculation assumptions, or consumer guidance materially changes.
Methodology for calculations
Payment examples use the standard fixed-installment amortization formula. Inputs such as APR, amount, and term are illustrative unless a page clearly states another basis. Actual loan terms are provided only by the lender or partner presenting an offer.
Corrections policy
To report incorrect information, outdated details, broken sources, calculation issues, or unclear disclosures, email info@borrowyourloan.com with the page URL and a short description of the concern. We review substantive reports and update material issues where appropriate.
Reference sources
When factual financial context is needed, we prefer official or authoritative sources such as the CFPB, FTC, Federal Reserve, and state regulator materials. A source link does not mean that agency endorses Borrow Your Loan.
